Why Here, Why Now.

I have been looking for a new blog site to start blogging about stuff of interest more than just a daily rant about traffic in my city.  I searched and I tried several blog sites and I think at the present time I will stay & dig in my roots here.  A little about the blogger behind the blog.  I am in my 30’s just realized what i want an eduaction in and somehow lost on what I am to accomplish in my life as a whole.  I want this blog to be about research, my love of  books,  my education process of going back to school, and yes everyday it is bound to happen, just hopefully not too much.

Isabella Moon

isabella-moonBy Laura Benedict.

Synopsis:

Idyllic Carystown, Kentucky has been scarred by the mysterious disappearance of a little girl named Isabella Moon. Hindered by an almost complete lack of evidence – lack, even, of a body – the case of the missing girl is still open after two years, and, though the media circus which engulfed the small town has long since subsided, Sheriff Bill Delaney is no nearer a resolution. Kate Russell knows that Isabella is not missing, but dead. The ghost of the young girl has disrupted Kate’s quiet life, beckoning to her to follow, to reveal to Kate the truth about her death. As Kate is drawn into the investigation, the charming facade of Carystown starts to crumble – the small town will be forever changed by the disappearance of the Isabella Moon, undone by murder, secrets, and lies.

Ok, so this book drew me in quickly.  there were two stories going on in this book.  The primary one is this little town had secrets that needed to be uncovered and the secondary story was the secret that Kate carried with her throughout the book.  I have to admit the secret Kate carried around made me angry and I do not like to be angry after I have been reading a book.  The more prominant storyline the one about the little town with secrets was very intriguing although i figured out who done it early on in the book (too much CSI in my life) I like how the book played out.  It is not a beach or before bed read a little on the scary side, but still a good read.
